The Saguaro Society is a philanthropic annual giving program within the Wildcat Club dedicated to enhancing the student-athlete experience at the University of Arizona. In an ever-changing collegiate athletics landscape, the Saguaro Society will serve as a foundation for financial stability and student-athlete success. This level of annual commitment helps fund many of our key priorities. The Saguaro Society will be compiled of distinguished Wildcat Club members who make an annual philanthropic investment of $10,000 or more. Based on the level of investment, members will receive exclusive access, experiences, and recognition that match their transformational impact on Arizona Athletics.

The Saguaro Society is a philanthropic annual giving group within the Wildcat Club dedicated to enhancing the student-athlete experience at the University of Arizona. In an ever-changing collegiate athletics landscape, the Saguaro Society will serve as a foundation for financial stability and student-athlete success. The Saguaro Society will include distinguished Wildcat Club members who commit to a five-year philanthropic pledge with an annual investment of $10,000 or more. Based on the level of investment, members will receive exclusive access, experiences, and recognition that match their transformational impact on Arizona Athletics.

As collegiate athletics changes, we must adapt with it. Priorities will be identified and established each year by leadership and head coaches for what is needed to compete and win at the highest level. We encourage you to discuss giving options with a Wildcat Club representative.

Investing in the Saguaro Society is an investment in Arizona Athletics. Your donation will have a profound impact on the lives of student-athletes currently and into their future. Created to recognize donors whose commitment goes above and beyond their seat-related giving, the Saguaro Society will help secure the financial resources needed to compete at the highest level.

Wildcat Club memberships are comprised of season ticket holders, annual donors and major gift investors and will continue to operate as normal. With the launch of the Saguaro Society, donors who give above and beyond their ticket purchases at a $10,000+ annual level will qualify for unique experiences and access.

Example: Wilber and Wilma Wildcat are proud Arizona Athletics supporters. Collectively, they spend $12,500 with Arizona Athletics each year, which qualifies them for the Golden Wildcat Club Membership Level. Of the total amount, $2,500 is tied to their season tickets, and $10,000 is a donation to the Student-Athlete Excellence Fund. With their $10,000 philanthropic commitment, Wilber and Wilma are now members of the Saguaro Society.

The deductible portion of this contribution should be determined by reference to the appropriate section(s) of the internal revenue code. You may wish to consult your tax advisor concerning this matter. The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 (PL 115-97) repealed the charitable deduction for payments made in exchange for the right to purchase tickets for seating at an athletic event on Arizona's Campus.
