Huskers Athletic Fund Ranking System

The Huskers Athletic Fund ranks members by annual priority levels followed by priority points within that level. The HAF ranking system recognizes both current annual support and lifetime priority point accumulation. This means your current annual membership level is most important and is used to calculate your rank for high-demand benefits like season ticket upgrading, parking locations, and postseason tickets.

The following chart shows the range of rankings at each membership level as of our November 30, 2025 ranking lock date. Your ranking within that level is based upon your HAF priority points.

Annual Membership Level Priority Level Ranking Range
Nebraska Leadership Society ($25,000) 1 1 - 378
Hall of Fame ($12,500+) 2 379 - 760
Champion ($5,000+) 3 761 - 2,479
Blackshirt ($1,000+) 4 2,480 - 9,012
Sea of Red ($100+) 5 9,013 - 16,735

Priority Points

Priority points help determine your rank amongst all Huskers Athletic Fund members for high-demand benefits. Rankings are determined based on your Huskers Athletic Fund Annual Membership Level followed by priority points within that level. A Huskers Athletic Fund member's rank is important when requesting tickets to popular events like bowl games or postseason competition, as well as season ticket or parking improvement requests.

Taxes

Tax reform legislation passed in December of 2017 impacted donations directly tied to season tickets for college sporting events (IE priority seating contributions), which are no longer tax-deductible. Please consult your tax advisor(s) concerning the application of tax laws to your particular situation.

Additional gifts above and beyond priority seating contributions may be tax deductible. Consult your tax advisor regarding the tax deductibility of your donations. Beginning in 2025, we no longer require donors to choose between 100 percent tax deductible funds and priority points eligible funds. Donors that wish to decline benefits including priority points still have the option to do so.
