What is SAAC?

SAAC is a registered student organization that provides student-athletes with the education and experiences needed to assist them in bridging the gap from college to the professional world and to encourage meaningful contributions to their communities.

The role of SAAC at Providence College

To design and implement activities that enhance student involvement at Providence College sporting events and to promote PC Athletics within the campus and surrounding Providence community.

To provide student-athletes with the opportunity to effectively communicate with the athletics department administration on matters that involve the welfare of student-athletes.

BIG EAST Student-Athlete Well-Being Forum

From June 4-5, 2024, Providence College student-athletes, and administrators attended the annual BIG EAST Student-Athlete Well-Being Forum, hosted by Seton Hall University and joined by members from all other BIG EAST schools. The two days were packed with speakers, panels and group discussions regarding mental health and wellness.
